Privacy is built into how we work. You choose what to share — anything you consider too sensitive, you simply leave out. We will never ask for passwords, SIN numbers, or account credentials; the binder records where important things are, not the keys to them. And once your binder is delivered, we delete the personal data from your session. Milestones was founded by someone who spent 15 years in industries where protecting sensitive data is paramount, and those standards are baked in from day one.
The stories, memories, and life lessons need zero preparation — our facilitator draws those out in conversation, so there's nothing to write ahead of time. The practical side — insurance, accounts, important documents — does take some gathering beforehand; it won't work otherwise. That's exactly what the 30-minute prep call is for: we give you a clear checklist of what to collect, so it's organized rather than overwhelming. Family can pitch in wherever it helps.
The session is scheduled within 2 weeks of booking. The printed binder is mailed within 1 week after the session.
If you're not satisfied with the session or the binder, we'll make it right — or refund you in full. No questions asked.
